Victims Impact Panel
Description
The Marion County Victim Impact Panel is a class that promotes sober driving while sharing personal stories with the hope to educate on the tragic consequences of driving under the influence.
The panel consists of law enforcement, Salem Health trauma program professionals, victims of DUII, and self-injured DUII persons whose lives have been changed due to a fatality or crash-related injury.
This class is 90 minutes long.

When registering to attend you will need your:

The name and address of the court that directed you to take this class
At check in on the day of class, you will need to provide your:
Photo identification
Case number
Note: Any missing or incorrect information will prevent and/or significantly delay your attendance notification being sent to the court.
Check-in for class begins 1 hour before class starts. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

FAQs
- I may be a few minutes late to the start of class. Is that OK?
To avoid interruptions, those who arrive late will not be allowed to enter.
- How will the court know that I have taken this class?
A certificate will be provided to you directly following the class. As a courtesy, a copy of your certificate will also be provided to the Salem Municipal Court and Marion County Court. All outside courts will be your responsibility to provide them a copy.
- Do you have an online version of this course?
Not at this time.
- This course is expensive. Can I get a scholarship?
This course is not eligible for scholarships.
- Does the name of the individual registering for the class have to match the payment information?
No. However, the name of the individual registering for the class must match the citation or case number given by the courts. If the names do not match, the courts will be unable to link your class results to your case.
- Do I have to pay with a credit card?
This registration website accepts payment with debit or credit cards, as well as alternative forms of payment like PayPal and Google Pay. You may also pay with exact cash or check by visiting the Community Health Education Center at Salem Hospital (939 Oak St. SE Salem, OR 97301) during normal business hours (weekdays, 9am to 6pm).
Please note that payment is not accepted the day of the class. Payment and registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the start of class.
