Established in 2004 in honour of pioneering cardiac surgeon, Dr Victor Chang, the annual School Science Awards celebrate young, gifted students, and aim to stimulate growth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subject areas.

To celebrate the achievement, the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, ANSTO, Sutherland Shire Council and Liverpool Council, in partnership, cordially invite winning students, parents / guardians and teachers to a reception and awards ceremony at ANSTO where you will hear inspirational stories from leading scientists. Winning students and their teachers also have the opportunity to participate in a facility tour of ANSTO following the presentation. Light refreshments will be provided.
