Event description

PLEASE BEAR WITH US, THERE IS A SLIGHT TECHNICAL PROBLEM, WE ARE WORKING ON THIS CURRENTLY, AND HOPE TO LAUNCH BEFORE 11:30AM.

Aboriginal Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Aboriginal Remembrance Committee would like to invite you to join us for the 2020 Victorian Aboriginal Remembrance Service (Service). Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, this years’ service will be delivered in a virtual capacity, online.

The Service is an annual event for all Victorians to pay their respects and to honour Aboriginal service men and women who have served, or continue to serve, in the Australian Defence Force. It is usually held annually at the Shrine of Remembrance, a legacy left by Aunty Dot Peters, however this year the event will be held differently.

Please join us at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday 31 May 2020 for this years’ Service, to pay your respects to the brave, inspirational Aboriginal members of the Australian Defence Force that have sacrificed for this country.

The Service can be accessed via the link below:

Please promote the Service across your networks and extend this invitation to all who may wish to attend.

Following the Service launch, the video will remain available for viewing online until Monday 31 May 2021.
