Where Our Paths Meet

Join us on Saturday 17 October 2026 for a special evening celebrating the people, partnerships and shared purpose that bring the Villages of Life community together.

Our dream has always been bold: to create lasting opportunities through education and provide a hand up, not a handout, for communities across Africa.

Where Our Paths Meet is more than an annual fundraising event. It is an opportunity to gather with friends, hear personal stories from the recent Africa Impact Trip and see what becomes possible when individuals, businesses and communities choose to walk alongside one another.

This year, we will celebrate the opening of Alpha True Vine School in Mpigi, Uganda, and share the vision for the next stage of a technical trades training centre in Huye, southern Rwanda.

This work is about more than bricks and mortar. It is about laying foundations that shape futures, equipping young people with practical skills and creating opportunities that can transform families for generations.

As Villages of Life approaches its 20th anniversary in 2027, we will also look ahead to the next chapter and share opportunities to experience the work firsthand during our special anniversary trip to Africa.

Lasting change cannot be achieved alone.

It takes a village, and every path that meets ours helps carry this work forward.

Ticket Price: $125

Date: Saturday 17 October 2026

Time: Arrival from 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start

Venue: Tatler Lane by Sweetbrew

Dress Code: Cocktail attire

Please note that the event will be held across both the indoor venue and outdoor laneway. We recommend bringing a light jacket so you can remain comfortable throughout the evening.

About Villages of Life

Villages of Life is a project management group partner of World Relief Australia.

All gifts of $2 and above are tax-deductible and must be unconditional, as required by Australian tax legislation. Donations are receipted through the World Relief Overseas Aid Fund.

World Relief Australia allocates donations according to the donor’s project preference wherever possible. When this is not possible, gifts may be directed to the nearest similar project. Undesignated or excess funds may be allocated to the area of greatest need. Administration costs are deducted prior to disbursement.
