About our slow clothing market!

From slow fashion to second-hand design, we are proud champions of artisan made and pre-loved style at Appetite for Decoration.. which is why we’re super excited to host this event at our Noosa Showroom. We will be welcoming some of our favourite designers working with artisans in Mexico, India, Senegal, Ghana and Morocco. Come and discover our ever so cool & conscious clothing edit including handloomed kaftans, embroidered dresses, artisanal art pieces and one off accessories.

There will be a new delivery of baskets direct from Ghana including our signature “Stay Flow” basket bags adorned with bespoke basket charms created by fellow ocean lover Beached Treasures! 

Plus an incredible selection of hand-selected vintage garments from some of our most fashionable friends! Think.. fabulous fifties, sixties and seventies frocks, vintage Easton Pearson, early Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Marni to name a few of our designer vintage finds!  Silk blouses, cool knitwear, palazzo pants, cotton and linen separates and a glorious array of accessories!

L’Artisane preserves Senegalese cultural craft with a hint of irony and pop art persuasion as seen in her infamous Burger Boubou. Employing traditional artisans and paying a fair wage for their craft is why we love to support these wearable works of art!

Baba Tree Baskets - welcome to our Basket Life, rich in tradition and meaning. Borne from a deep appreciation of the oldest craft in the world and our partnership with the most talented artisans from Bolgatanga, Ghana

Las Nina’s Textiles who has been working with artisans in Mexico for over twenty years. Zara’s  style is Folk but Classic at the same time and her Dresses (mostly) are almost always made of 100% Cotton, Vintage Indigo with intricate Ikat and Huipils, created slowly on Back Strap Looms that are almost always Heavily Embroidered and Crochet. Dedicated to keeping traditions alive and created for millenia They are statement pieces for her clients whom insist on one of a kind items.

Dear Abigaêl designs celebrate your body and promise to make you feel happy & beautiful with their kaleidoscope of wardrobe wears. Dedicated to a sustainable future and a happy, peaceful planet, we source vintage, recycled, organic and deadstock fabrics from all the deliciously colourful corners of the globe as well as printing and weaving small runs of limited edition signature fabrics.

Ruby Phyllis brings her iconic invisible threads collection to Noosa. Each individually handcrafted piece has been created from upcycled t-shirts and is truly one of a kind. Bianca has been creating in the circular fashion space for twenty years now.. a true innovator of the slow fashion movement.
