Event description

Prepare to be transported to bygone eras of glamour, grace, and glitz! Brunchercize is proud to present as part of its Summer Dance Lovin' 2025 term, Vintage Cabaret dance class!

This unique class offers a captivating journey through the history of dance, exploring iconic styles from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. Each week, students will delve into a different era, sampling the art of:

  • 1890s Can-Can: Learn the high-kicking, foot-stomping moves that defined the Parisian cabaret scene.
  • 1920s Flapper: Embrace the rebellious spirit of the Roaring Twenties with seductive shimmying and Charleston steps.
  • 1930s Sally Rand Fan Dance: Dabble in the art of tease and illusion with elegant fan choreography.
  • 1950s Bump and Grind: Channel your inner 50s screen siren with sultry hip movements and seductive gestures from the golden age of burlesque.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, our experienced instructor will guide you through each style with patience and expertise. No partner is required, and all levels are welcome.
