Inspired by Japanese listening rooms and long afternoons spent discovering music together, Vinyl listening club is a monthly vinyl listening club for people who love records, sound, and slowing down.

Blurring the line between food, drink, and music, Vinyl listening club turns Funhaus Factory into an immersive vinyl & burger bar - serving milk-bar and street-eat nostalgia, cheeky Saturday cocktails, and records worth sitting with from start to finish. It’s music you listen to properly.

On the third Saturday of every month, music lovers, collectors, DJs, and curious listeners gather to share vinyl, spin full records, and talk it out — a book club for albums rather than books. Bring a record you love, drop the needle, and share why it matters: the artist, the pressing, the sound, or the memory attached to it. These sessions are about discovery, high-fidelity listening, and the simple pleasure of paying attention together.

Expect records played in full, good sound, good food, and time set aside to listen properly. An afternoon of analogue listening, shared curiosity, and getting out of the algorithm for a while.

No playlists. No skips. Just records, sound, and people in the room.

September: In celebration of the Sept Basement Gallery Audio/Visual Installation, Every Beatles Beat, Sept vinyl club theme is “The Beatles and Beyond” - exploring Beatles classics, solo projects, influential inspirations, iconic covers, and the artists they helped shape. Special guest Luke Herbert, local drummer, percussionist & creator of the exhibition, will join us to share stories and insights from his wealth of Beatles knowledge.

October:  Vinyl club theme is “Phil Collins” - A deep-dive celebration of the man himself and everything he’s touched, from his solo catalogue and Genesis era to production credits, collaborations, and tracks he’s influenced, it’s a full-on superfan excavation of the Phil Collins universe.

Enjoy $15 cocktail happy hour from 12pm – 1pm + Delicious burgers and street food from Beau’s Burgers.

This is an all ages event (Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult)

If you’re driving, street parking and public parking is available in Baker St car park (enter via Erina St near Gosford hotel and ground floor parking is free)
