VIRTUAL - Administration of Midazolam

The Epilepsy Foundation proudly presents Administration of Midazolam!

This Virtual course is delivered by one of our highly qualified team of Registered Nurses, each with expert epilepsy experience. 

Participants will learn about Emergency Medication Management Plans and the underpinning knowledge and skills required to safely and competently manage and administer Midazolam for the treatment of seizures. 

At the completion of this course, you will complete a practical assessment in front of the nurse. You will be sent practical equipment prior to the training to use during the session (for participants located within Australia). Registration will close one week out from the event. 

Completion of foundational epilepsy training, Understanding and Managing Epilepsy or equivalent, is necessary prior to attendance at an Administration of Midazolam Training.

The Epilepsy Foundation will provide a certificate of completion following the course. The participant and/or employer is responsible to ensure relevant internal requirements and policies regarding the administration of Midazolam are met.
