Courageous Conversation Aotearoa Foundation® (CCAF), in partnership with Te Tiriti-based Futures + Anti-Racism, invites you to join us on March 26 & 27, 2026, for our Virtual Courageous Conversation: The Experience® Workshop (VCC).

In these turbulent times, it is more pressing than ever to advance the movement toward a Te Tiriti-led Aotearoa. The work of radical racial equity and inclusion requires more than an understanding of theory and knowledge acquisition; the conversation begins with you – it demands self-reflection, lived experience, and the ability to engage in authentic, ongoing and courageous intra- and inter-racial dialogue.

Join us for a deep dive into the role of race in each of our lives and professional practice. Courageous Conversation® is based on contemporary race theory; however, its Protocol demands that practitioners establish a racial context that is personal, local and immediate. In other words, participants’ stories must be drawn from their lived experience, from the micro as well as the macro spaces in their lives. Every participant comes to an understanding of their own racialised selves. This facilitates a newfound consciousness that will enhance every aspect of your fight against racism and for a Te Tiriti-based future.

VCC is a thoughtful, compassionate exploration of the way in which race and racial equity impacts our lives, work and communities. This powerful workshop will provide you with the strategies, knowledge and skills needed to break down the barriers to authentic equitable inclusion and cultural responsiveness.

VCC consists of 3 online sessions across 2 days, plus an online ‘Unpack and Coaching’ session which will be held a couple of weeks after the initial experience.

Thursday 26th March
Times for Day 1: 9am - 11.45am and 1.45pm - 4.30pm

Friday 27th March
Times for Day 2: 9am - 12.30pm


Wednesday 8th April 
Unpack Session: 9am - 10.30am
