As part of the 67th United Nations Commission for the Status of Women (CSW67), SSI, in collaboration with National Rural Women’s Coalition, will be hosting a virtual panel discussing the challenges and opportunities to successful settlement in rural and regional areas.

The panel discussion will bring to the forefront the inequalities often faced by rural and regional women.

The CSW is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. Instrumental in promoting women’s rights, documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the world, and shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of women, CSW67 and its parallel events are not to be missed.

Our panellists

Juliana Nkrumah AM, Program Manager, Domestic and Family Violence,
Dr Astrid Perry OAM, Head of Women, Equity & Domestic Violence, SSI
