Virtual letter and email writing with D4P
Event description
It can feel confusing and overwhelming to get in contact with politicians.
Who should I contact? How formally should I write? Do I even have time for this?
Never fear, join Darebin for Palestine for a letter and email writing session where we will go through the steps together. This session will focus on sending emails and letters to elected members in state and federal government that cover the Darebin area, as well as MPs that represent relevant departments such as Health and Defence.
Initiatives such as Flood the Post have demonstrated the power of mass communication to politicians through simple and clear messages. It’s important that we keep the pressure up and let politicians know that we’re paying attention to their complicity and inaction around Palestine – particularly as election season is looming.
This event will take place entirely online via Zoom. The link will be emailed to registered participants one day before the event.
Location: Online
