Developing a collaborative relationship with all parties including the injured workers nominated treating doctor is an integral component of EML‘s proactive case management strategy. The session provides education regarding injury management and the role of the GP in the injury management process including: - Clinical Framework – how the clinical framework is used to optimise participation at home, work and in the community, and to achieve the best possible health outcomes for injured workers. - How work-related traumatic injuries are diagnosed and treated. - Musculoskeletal injuries – Explains common muscular and skeletal work-related traumatic injuries, and their diagnosis, treatment and recovery time-frames. - Body parts, organs and the skin – Explains common work-related traumatic injuries to body parts, organs and the skin. - Health benefits of work Important Information: This webinar will be split into two 1.5 hour sessions with a short break in between each session, as follows: Session 1: 9.30am - 10:30am Session 2: 11.30am-12:30pm The webinar will be held of MS Teams.
