Virtual KiwiChat Junior Term 4 2024

TalkLink welcomes all Primary school aged users of alternative and augmentative communication systems.

NB This activity morning is appropriate for younger students from 5 to 11. If your students are older it is not age appropriate and we recommend you joining one of our Senior KiwiChat days instead.

This time the Kiwi Chat Day will be held at : Your home or school using Zoom

THEME OF THE DAY: Clowns

Come dressed as a clown or face paint clown face – resources will be sent to you to help your students choose what to paint

Arrival and introductions

• Students are encouraged to have a visual schedule of the morning’s activities printed and ready to use along with any other resources that are recommended and sent to you prior to the day.

Share our clown faces

• Let’s share all our faces/costumes and give each other feedback

   Let’s move

• Let’s have a break and do some clown dancing

Activities

• Let’s look at some magic clown tricks with balloons and other simple tricks
