Step to the Summit of Everest

A Wellbeing Challenge with a Difference

Have you ever dreamt of climbing Everest?

What if you could experience the journey to the world’s highest peak without leaving your workplace, home, or town?

Step to the Summit of Everest is a unique 4-week wellbeing program that takes you on a virtual climb to the top of the world, guided by expert mountaineer Tashi Sherpa with support from Katrina Webb OAM. Along the way, you’ll not only build resilience and wellbeing, but also gain powerful insights into leadership, culture, and what it takes to reach extraordinary goals.

The Program

  • Dates: November 17 – December 14, 2025

  • Duration: 4 weeks (the same time it takes to summit Everest)

  • Guides: Weekly emails, itineraries, and videos from Tashi Sherpa and Katrina Webb

  • Experience: Feel like you’re really there, with stories, footage, and reflections direct from the Himalayas
The program starts on November 17 2025 and runs for 4 weeks, the exact length of time it takes to climb to the summit of Mt Everest.

  • In addition, you will receive exclusive access to 'THE QUEST: Everest VR', a one-of-a-kind "real-life" Mt. Everest virtual reality documentary hosted by filmmaker and explorer Alex Harz.

Choose Your Elevation Level

You decide how high you want to climb:

  • Level 1 – 1,724m elevation (50% of the climb from Base Camp to Summit)

  • Level 2 – 3,448m elevation (Base Camp to Summit)

  • Level 3 – 6,548m elevation (the real steps climbers take to successfully summit)

  • Level 4 – Choose your own elevation. Set a physical challenge, a personal/leadership/business growth goal, or even a target to “elevate others.”

What You’ll Need

  1. Yourself

  2. Stairs, an incline, or a hill nearby (Levels 1–3)

  3. A device to measure elevation (smartphone, smartwatch, app, map, or even a measuring tape)

  4. Motivation to take on your weekly challenge

What You’ll Receive

✔️ Weekly email with your elevation target and itinerary

About Tashi Sherpa

Tashi Sherpa grew up in the Khumbu region of Nepal, home to Mount Everest, and comes from a proud lineage of mountaineers. Both his grandfather and father were veteran climbers who guided many successful ascents of Everest and other Himalayan peaks.

Although the mountains were in his blood, Tashi’s own journey began on a different path. At age 12, he entered the Kopan Buddhist Monastery, where he spent 14 years as a monk, specialising as a medic and earning a degree in community health work.

In 2007, Tashi began his mountaineering career, and just three years later he was tackling the great peaks of the Himalayas. Since then, he has guided groups to the summit of Mount Everest six times, as well as leading ascents of Ama Dablam (6,812m), Baruntse (7,150m), Putha Hiunchuli (7,246m), and many other peaks over 6,000m. He has also explored numerous unclimbed Himalayan summits.

Tashi is a certified IFMGA Mountain Guide, holds a Diploma in Mountain Guiding, and is an instructor with the Nepal Mountaineering Instructor Association. For him, life in the mountains is not just a profession—it is a calling.
