The Epilepsy Foundation proudly presents Understanding & Managing Epilepsy and Administration of Midazolam!

This Virtual course is delivered by one of our highly qualified team of Registered Nurses, each with expert epilepsy experience and provides the fundamental knowledge required to support a person living with epilepsy.

Participants will learn the facts about epilepsy, different types of seizures and how to spot them, seizure first aid and the potential impacts epilepsy can have on people. Participants will also learn about Epilepsy and Emergency Medication Management Plans and the underpinning knowledge and skills required to safely and competently manage and administer Midazolam for the treatment of seizures.

At the completion of this course, you will complete a practical assessment in front of the nurse. You will be sent practical equipment prior to the training to use during the session (for participants located within Australia). Registration will close one week out from the event.

The Epilepsy Foundation will provide a certificate of completion following the course. The participant and/or employer is responsible to ensure relevant internal requirements and policies regarding the administration of Midazolam are met.
