Event description

Home can sometimes feel like the place where everything unravels, the big feelings, the tears, the exhaustion, but it’s also a sign of safety. After holding it together all day, home is where your child can exhale and release everything they’ve been holding in.

In this session, we’ll discuss how creating a low-demand home life can help to support your child’s wellbeing and bring more ease for everyone. When you slow things down, reduce pressure, and honour your child’s needs, home can become the space your whole family needs to rest, reconnect, and recharge.

In this peer group we’ll explore
• How reducing demands can support regulation, confidence, and wellbeing
• Why big feelings often surface at home and what this tells us about safety and trust
• How honouring your child’s needs can bring more connection for the whole family

This group is facilitated by Kristy
Kristy is a proud mum to Dash, who is Autistic and has ADHD, just like his mum. She’s passionate about connecting with other families and celebrating neurodivergent joy and all the strengths that come with thinking differently.
