Managing School Holidays: Virtual MyTime
Event description
Managing School Holidays
Virtual MyTime
About this event
School holidays are a great opportunity for families to connect and unwind However, they can also be challenging. Planning ahead can ensure the school break goes as smoothly as possible. Â
Join this peer group discussion to hear how families manage the holidays, whether they plan ahead, schedule more or less therapy, maintain routines, or utilise structured activities. We want to hear what works for you; there will be an opportunity to share ideas and experiences and ask questions. Â
This event is facilitated by Bree
Bree is a mum of two children. Her second child Dax was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV). She has lived around Australia before settling on the south coast of NSW with her family.
Bree and her partner Mitchell love the outdoors and will always find a way to include Dax in their adventures along with their daughter Dylan.
Who is this event for?
MyTime is for parents and caregivers raising a child with disability, developmental delay or autism.
During a MyTime session, there is a guided discussion and a space to connect with other families. These discussions offer an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share and learn from each other.
