Vision Board Workshop with Megan James
Event description
Come along to a relaxing morning and set your intention as we create and connect to what we truly want for the year ahead.
There will be a guided meditation to begin with, some brief workshopping to set goals, define our intentions and set our vision. Using pictures and words we will create a poster covering all the things we want to bring in for the next 12 months.
A variety of mediums, paper, newspapers, clippings, glitter, crayons, pencils, posca's, sharpies and more will be supplied to express your vision.
All materials will be provided — just bring yourself and an open mind!
About the Facilitator:
Hi, I’m Megan I have been a counsellor for 17 years. I have worked with people from all walks of life and love my job! I currently run my own business from Nairne and travel throughout the Adelaide hills, Central, Southern Suburbs and Murray Bridge region, offering Counselling and emotional support at homes and a variety of community centres. I have clients who are privately seeking counselling and that are within the NDIS system accessing their therapy funding.
I run workshops from my home in Nairne where we get creative and explore through visualisation, creative expression, mindfulness and mindful circles.
I have vast knowledge working with people who experience Trauma, Domestic Violence, Mental health, relationship difficulties, motivation, neurodiversity, varying health diagnosis and palliative support. I am passionate about helping people feel connected, empowered and exploring choices that support positive outcomes or a sense of peace.
I have worked at varying organisations such as Bedford, Catherine House, Carers Support and the Education Department but have worked for myself for the last 4 years independently.
I moved to the Adelaide Hills 8 and a half years ago and our family have never looked back. I look forward to increasing my services within the Adelaide hills region by offering more counselling, green therapy, creative art therapy and workshops throughout the Adelaide Hills and also from my home. I am excited about donating some of my time and experience at the Hut community centre giving back to the Hill’s community.
