Volunteer and help create a welcoming experience for our visitors!

As a Visitor Center volunteer you may help our Office Manager with:

• Greeting visitors and helping them find their way around our buildings and grounds

• Passing out trail maps.

• Answering questions about the trails and gardens and sharing the history of our organization and grounds.

• Gift shop management, processing sales, taking inventory, stocking items, etc.

• Providing information about memberships and donations.

• Sharing details about facility rentals.

• Administrative tasks, such as mailings, making copies, laminating, etc.

• Keeping the visitor center tidy and clean.

• Event and program prep and clean up.

You'll be provided with training, information, and guidance to help you feel confident in your role.

** You'll notice that when you're signing up it looks like you're purchasing tickets. The system we use is designed for ticket sales. There will never be a cost to sign up to volunteer and you won't need the ticket you receive in your email. **

Viles Arboretum has 224-acres of land and 7-miles of trails that are open every day of the year and free to visit. Volunteers play a vital role in helping to keep our spaces maintained.
