Visual Story Telling with Aśka

Join the energetic visual storyteller Aśka, to discover the secrets of telling stories with mini-comics at Byford Library!

This session will cover the nuts and bolts of storytelling. You will learn to draw expressive characters and some basics of the ‘visual vocabulary’. Starting small, we will have fun with generating story ideas, and then learn how to plan, and expand our stories into longer works. Best of all – you do not need to be an artist to do this, as this action packed and super productive workshop is all about using drawing as a language, rather than making pretty pictures. 

For children aged 8 to 12 years. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
