The Visualise Your Thesis competition challenges researchers to present a snapshot of their PhD research in a 60-second PowerPoint presentation. This second training session looks at using the right graphic and visual elements to communicate your research story. A picture really can be worth a thousand words, especially when you have such a short time within which to tell your story. The effective use of graphic art, photography and numerous other design features can really help you get your message across.
