Viva Energy Hub - Hydrogen Refuelling Site Tour

Viva Energy has constructed Australia’s first commercially scaled and publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling station at the Viva Energy Hub in Geelong, Victoria. It offers renewable hydrogen refuelling and ultra-fast EV recharging for heavy transport vehicles powered by renewable energy.

The Viva Energy Hub can dispense renewable hydrogen in commercial quantities and refuel a fleet of heavy hydrogen-powered trucks and buses. The project places Victoria at the forefront of Australia’s ambitions for hydrogen as a zero emission solution for the commercial road transport sector.

The hydrogen project at the Viva Energy Hub in Geelong was officially opened by the Deputy Prime Minister, Richard Marles on 13 June 2025.

With the ribbon cutting complete, the dust has settled long enough for us to take a look, and Viva have kindly accepted our request for a site tour.

Get in quick as numbers are limited.

Parking is available on the left side of Station Street after the roundabout. Please don't turn into Refinery Road or park in the refuelling station.  The site tour will start at the refuelling station at 10am sharp, so please plan ahead and arrive early to allow for parking and a short walk to the site.

Please let us know when purchasing your ticket if you would like to join us after the tour at the Shell Club and we will reserve a table for those interested to continue networking.

NB. The cost of lunch and/or drinks at the Shell Club is not included in the ticket.
