Vive Le Long Lunch

This event has passed Get Tickets

Event description

Join us for a very special lunch ahead of the Wallabies final preparation match leading into the Rugby World Cup against France at Stade de France. MC Sean Maloney is joined by special guests including 1999 Rugby World Cup winner Joe Roff, new Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh and Morgan Turinui to discuss the Wallabies' chances and what to expect as they tour around France this September & October.

Our guests will provide unique insights, with Roff & Turinui having played and lived in France - Roff with Biarritz, Turinui with Stade Francais, and Waugh having toured with the Wallabies there, including the 2007 Rugby World Cup.  All of this means there will be plenty of entertaining stories from the French experience.

Darling Harbour's Atelier by Sofitel is the perfect venue for this occasion. Inspired by the customs and flavours found in the South of France, Atelier delivers a modern twist on classic French cuisine. Using local ingredients and unexpected tastes,  Atelier serves a sensory dining experience that honours past and present.

You'll enjoy a three course banquet menu, 3.5 hour beer, wine & soft drink beverage package, lots of laughs and a classic afternoon catching up with colleagues, clients and friends.

Proceeds from the long lunch go to supporting the Classic Wallabies' grassroots rugby clinics in clubs right around Australia.
