Join us at Refettorio OzHarvest for a unique dinner series, in collaboration with Vivid Sydney, where every bite feeds a dream of a more sustainable, inclusive and creative future for food and dining in Australia. Each evening of ‘Our Shared Dream’ will see a different leading Australian chef on the pans collaborating with Refettorio OzHarvest. Here, they’ll plate up a unique take on a four-course vegetarian menu, made entirely from rescued produce.

Our Shared Dream not only offers an unforgettable dining experience but will also help feed those in need. Your meal will Pay It Forward and cover the cost of a three-course meal for Sydney's vulnerable communities.

Please note, our regular Pay It Forward Dinners will be paused during this period, and will resume from Thursday 19th June, 2024.

Located on Crown Street in Surry Hills, Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an Australian-first, social impact collaboration between OzHarvest and world renowned chef, Massimo Bottura and his not-for-profit organisation, Food for Soul.
Born out of a shared vision to nurture the well-being of people and the health of the planet, founders Ronni Kahn AO and Massimo Bottura have created a community hub welcoming those in need, to feel at home and enjoy a nourishing meal.

The Refettorio model is designed to meet the needs of those experiencing food insecurity and provide a positive experience for guests. The Refettorio embraces Food for Soul’s guiding principles, value of hospitality, power of beauty, and collective ideas to provide a dignified dining experience for Sydney’s most vulnerable, alongside actions that protect the environment and foster social inclusion.
Based on our zero-waste philosophy, rescued ingredients are transformed by OzHarvest chefs into gourmet vegetarian meals with the menu changing weekly.

Our team works with the local community and OzHarvest’s network of charities to ensure those experiencing food insecurity can access a delicious free meal during the week.
