Event description

Mohammad Othman will report on Bushra Othman's current and former missions volunteering as a surgeon in Gaza. Yousef Alreemawi long time Palestinian activist will be moderating the event and Mai Saif will be adding her expertise and insights as a Palestinian health worker. We will also have Tareq Abubasheer speaking, a medical student from Gaza and recent arrival to Australia. He will share his insights into studying medicine in Gaza, witnessing the destruction of the health system in Gaza and his recent journey to continue studying medicine in Australia.

The "Paper Kites for Palestine" art installation will also be on display. Chef Aheda's Palestinian food truck will be there as well. The book "Gaza: an inquiry into Its Martyrdom" will be on sale from Nillumbik for Palestine (100% of sales donated). There will be a selection of Palestine related books on sale from the Eltham Bookshop pop-up book stall(10% of sales donated).

All proceeds to Global Medical Foundation Australia's on the ground projects in Gaza.
