Join us as we explore this important research and find out exactly what Queenslanders with disability have said. Are things better than they were last year? Have they stayed the same? Or, have things gotten worse?

These questions and more will be answered as we uncover what the data tells us, and what that means for everyone.

Each year, information is provided by hundreds of people with disability, their families and carers and the organisations that support them to understand experiences and quality of life across different areas, such as housing, health, and community support.

The research looks at the experiences of Queenslanders with disability at one point in time each year. It does not follow the same people, although some people may have participated each year. Instead, we take a “snapshot” to help us see patterns and changes over time.

The report begins by summarising the main trends over time in the findings and who participated. The rest of the report is structured into sections that cover important areas of life aligned with the priority areas in Queensland’s Disability Plan 2022-27: Together, a better Queensland (e.g. jobs, housing, safety, supports, education and health).

Each section begins with a short summary of key trends over the past three years followed by a detailed look at 2025 and the actionable insights gained from the data.
