Voices from Gaza - Small-Scale Women Agripreneurs Solidarity Fundraising Event

Price FREE – $20 AUD + BF + GST Get tickets

Event description

As the current indescribable humanitarian crisis in Gaza rolls out on our screens with new daily horrors emerging, the world witnesses continued destruction of infrastructure, hospitals, schools, homes, buildings, agriculture, and heritage farms, coupled with loss of clean water, sewerage, transport, and electricity infrastructure. The decimation of the health system leaves health and emergency personnel well beyond their limit and functionality.

Your help is urgently needed. This unique event will provide a space for members of the Gazan Urban Women Agripreneurs Forum to speak about their current life situation, and the challenges they and their families and communities are facing. They will also speak about how this community-led solidarity fundraising campaign can support them recover and rebuild.

Join us from 6-8pm to hear from members of the Gazan Urban Women Agripreneurs Forum (UWAF), as well as others working for food sovereignty in Palestine.

This is a fundraiser for the solidarity campaign for UWAF 'Local Community Food Production in Gaza'

Hosted by Sustain: Australia, Just Food Collective, Global Gardens of Peace and Gaza Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Platform.
