Event description

Voices from Palestine

Join us on a journey through Palestine.  Kat H visited Palestine in the fall of 2024 and gathered stories from Palestinians in the West Bank while helping out with the OLIVE HARVEST.  This is a chance to hear directly from those resilient people, in their own voices, and see photographs from the trip.  

The video journey takes you through the West Bank from Jerusalem to Jericho, up towards Nablus, into the Jordan Valley, and down to Hebron and the South Hebron hills.  After the film, there will be small group discussions and Q & A.  Learn about the reality of life on the ground.  Hear from members of the Bedouin community, shepherds, non-violent activists, B'tselem and Amnesty human rights reporters and everyday people about their challenges and resistance - and where they find hope.

We will also have items directly from Bethlehem available to purchase as a way of directly supporting people in that community. Proceeds go to support the artisans in Bethlehem. Cash only.
