Voices Vic Information Session
On Thursday the 2nd of September, Voices Vic Youth Program offers a Free Information Session to briefly share the Hearing Voices Approach and how our services are currently operating during these unprecedented times. We will offer useful coping strategies and skills for professionals who work with voice hearers aged 16-25. Those who are experiencing distressing voices themselves are all welcome to join for the intro session.
Info Session will include:
- A brief introduction to the Hearing Voices Approach
- Information about our current services - Hearing Voices Support Groups, One on one program, recovery coaching, available online training + support packages.
- Information about our new Youth Program.
- A few strategies and techniques for managing voices.
Who Are Voices Vic?
Uniting’s Voices Vic is an award-winning and research-supported specialist program improving the wellbeing and recovery of people who hear voices. Voices Vic provides dynamic recovery groups and one-on-one support led by peers with lived experience and mental health. Our team also facilitates training across Australia for organisations and individuals who work with voice hearers.
