VoiceWorks @ WollCon Vocal Workshops

VoiceWorks Vocal Workshop Day 2026 invites singers of all experience levels to enjoy a full day of music-making, creativity, and connection through voice. Across the day, participants will take part in three engaging one-hour workshops led by experienced vocal professionals, each exploring a unique vocal style and approach to performance.

Whether you are a seasoned performer, choir member, music student, or someone who simply loves to sing, this workshop day offers a welcoming and supportive environment to learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with other singers in the community.

Workshop Facilitators

Sam Walton - Jazz Vocals

Sam Walton is a Sydney-based vocalist, pianist, arranger and composer with a diverse musical background spanning jazz, soul, folk and pop. She is a co-founder of vocal trio Lyhra and has performed extensively across Australia, the UK and Europe. Sam has also worked as a vocal lecturer and educator and currently teaches voice and conducts vocal ensembles at Abbotsleigh Senior School.
Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Trish Delaney-Brown is no longer available to facilitate the Jazz Vocals workshop. We are pleased to welcome Sam Walton, a colleague of Trish's from Lyra Music, who will lead the jazz workshop in her place.

Stuart Davis - Contemporary South African Gospel
Experience the energy and spirit of Contemporary South African Gospel music in this uplifting and interactive vocal workshop with Stuart Davis.

Sarah Colborne-Veel - Cabaret & Musical Theatre
Drawing on her extensive professional experience, Sarah Colborne-Veel will guide participants through performance, storytelling, and vocal techniques for Cabaret and Musical Theatre.
