Event description
Volunteering Day Program at Cooks River
Date: Saturday, 10th May 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Younger Avenue, Earlwood, NSW 2206
Join us for a meaningful morning of tree planting along the beautiful Cooks River!
As part of Greater Sydney Landcare’s Creating Canopies project, we’ll be helping to restore local habitats, cool our suburbs, and contribute to a greener future for Sydney. 🌱
You'll be directly supporting one of the biggest urban reforestation initiatives in NSW — helping plant 300,000 native trees by the end of 2025!
This is your chance to make a positive impact, meet like-minded people, and spend a day outdoors doing something good for the environment.
No prior gardening experience needed — all training, tools, gloves, and lunch will be provided! 🙌
