Onslow National Volunteer Week Celebration 2025

National Volunteer Week, running from May 19–25, 2025, is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering. It’s a time to recognise the invaluable contributions of volunteers and inspire others to get involved.
The Shire of Ashburton, which includes over 150 clubs and groups across its four towns, will be celebrating National Volunteer Week in each community with unique events.
Coordinated nationally by Volunteering Australia, this year’s theme is ‘Connecting Communities’, highlighting the power of volunteering to unite people.
To honour the incredible efforts of Onslow's volunteers throughout 2024, the community is invited to a relaxed afternoon at the Onslow Beach Resort. Enjoy live music from George Kelly Acoustics and complimentary catering as a thank you to those who generously give their time and energy.
On May 18th, the event will begin at 4:30pm and wrap up around 6:30pm. Gifts will be provided for all attendees.
This is a family-friendly event. You are welcome to BYO snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
