Volunteer with Jersey City Connects This December!

Jersey City Connects is dedicated to building community connections through exciting events. To make our events successful and memorable, we rely on the incredible support of volunteers like you!

(1) EVENT SUPPORT

• Speed Dating @ Luna
• Date: Tuesday, December 3
• Time: 6 pm to 9:45 pm
• Responsibilities:  Welcome attendees, assist with check-in, provide dating materials, and help ensure smooth transitions between rounds.

• Trivia Night @ The Hutton
• Date: Tuesday, December 10
• Time: 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm

• Responsibilities:  Set up trivia materials, welcome guests, assist with scoring, and provide on-the-spot support to the event host by answering participant questions.

• Ugly Sweater Party @ Departed Soles
• Date: Wednesday, December 11
• Time: 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
• Responsibilities: Help set up festive decorations, greet attendees, distribute icebreaker cards, and facilitate the scavenger hunt to ensure everyone has a great time.

• Book Club @ 902 Brewery
• Date: Thursday, December 12
• Time: 6 pm to 9:30pm
• Responsibilities: Welcome attendees, set up the Jersey City Connects craft table, hand out promotional postcards, and assist with both setup and cleanup.
  

• Board Game Night @ Semicolon
• Date: Saturday, December 14
• Time: 5:40 pm to 9 pm
• Responsibilities:  Prepare tables and arrange board games, greet participants, assist in introducing games, and help with cleanup.

(2) PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY

Are you an aspiring photographer or videographer? This is your chance to capture the excitement of our events, build your portfolio, and have your work featured on our Instagram! Please note that all photos and videos are subject to approval before being shared.

Time Commitment: 30-45 minutes of shooting per event
