Volunteer with Jersey City Connects This November!
Event description
Jersey City Connects is dedicated to building community connections through exciting events. To make our events successful and memorable, we rely on the incredible support of volunteers like you!
In exchange for your time, you’ll receive a free ticket to attend a future event of your choice!
(1) EVENT SUPPORT
- Board Game Night @ Semicolon
- Date: Saturday, November 9
Time: 5 pm to 9 pm
Responsibilities: Help set up tables and board games, welcome guests, and guide them through the game introductions. After the fun, lend a hand with cleanup and packing up games.
- Trivia Night @ The Hutton
- Date: Tuesday, November 12
- Time: 6 pm to 8:30 pm
Responsibilities: Assist with setting up trivia materials, greet guests as they arrive, help keep score, and be ready to support the event host with any questions from participants.
- Book Club @ 902 Brewery
- Date: Thursday, November 14
- Time: 6 pm to 9 pm
- Responsibilities: Welcome attendees, set up our Jersey City Connects table, organize the book swap, distribute postcards, and help with setup and cleanup.
- Friends Mixer @ Dvora Life
- Date:Â Tuesday, November 26
- Time: 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Responsibilities: Arrange tables and seating, greet attendees, hand out murder mystery materials, and ensure everyone has a fantastic time. Assist with cleanup afterwards.
(2) PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY
Are you an aspiring photographer or videographer? This is your chance to capture the excitement of our events, build your portfolio, and have your work featured on our Instagram! Please note that all photos and videos are subject to approval before being shared.
Time Commitment: 30-45 minutes of shooting per event
