Event description
Join us for our May Innovation Breakfast as we celebrate National Volunteer Week (19-25 May 2025) and consider the vital role of volunteering in Gippsland to strengthen our community. This session will examine the challenges of recruiting and retaining volunteers, highlight innovation initiatives supporting volunteer participation, and consider the impact of volunteering on individuals and businesses.
In partnership with GippSport, we'll showcase the Volunteering Gippsland website, a regional platform designed to connect volunteers with organisations in need. One year after its launch, we'll explore why the platform was developed, how it is being used, and the outcomes being achieved.
The session will also feature local case studies, celebrating volunteers who are making a difference. Hear their inspiring stories - why they volunteer, the challenges and rewards they've experienced, and the positive change they've helped create.
