FOGO Presentation - International Day of Food Loss and Waste Reduction

29th Sept - 10.00-11.00 am @VPCC

Join the Town’s Waste Educator for an informative session on what to do with waste and how to make the most of the Town of Victoria Park’s waste services.

This session will cover:

  1. The three-bin system offered by the Town

  2. What hazardous waste is and why it must not go in the general waste

  3. Bin tagging and how it helps improve waste sorting

  4. Hazardous waste drop-off days and how to access them

  5. How to be a GREAT sorter

  6. Options for donating items to charities instead of disposing of them

  7. The collective difference we are making in the Town of Victoria Park

 

Come along to learn practical tips and better understand how your actions contribute to a more sustainable community.
