VPS Ada Lovelace Day 2022
Event description
Ada Lovelace Day 2022 - Advocacy, Community, Recognition
Ada Lovelace Day is a global movement which recognises and celebrates the achievements and contributions of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) careers.
From the thought leaders to the trailblazers, the industrious, the creative thinkers, this event is all about listening – and gaining inspiration from – our female colleagues working in STEM.
With an opening address by Alexis Ewing, Executive Director of Infrastructure Services at Cenitex, join us to hear short talks from women in all stages of their STEM careers across the VPS.
Celebrate your colleagues by nominating them for ‘The Ada,’ a Peer Recognition Award that strives to showcase the achievements of our female STEM colleagues who've made an impact in their field. Access the nomination form.
We'll announce the winner and runners up of 'The Ada' on the day.
Keep an eye on the VPS Innovation Network Ada Lovelace group for speaker announcements!
This event will be live captioned to support accessibility.
*note this event is open to people working within the Victorian Public Sector - please register with your work email address to enable validation of registrations*
