Big Band Dance

Presented by the Victorian State Government.

The Daryl McKenzie Swing Band delivers a repertoire of classic jazz, swing and Latin dance hits designed to keep you on the dance floor.

This group is led by renowned composer and arranger Daryl McKenzie. It also includes former members of the Victoria

Police Band. This mix creates the ideal soundtrack for social dancing, nostalgia and live music.

Ballroom DJ Geoffrey Proctor will join us to showcase his top classics.

Event program

The Daryl McKenzie Swing Band will perform a mix of music for ballroom, swing, jazz and Latin dance styles.

Ballroom DJ Geoffrey Proctor will showcase music for sequence dance.

This event is for everyone who loves to dance, regardless of skill. If you’d prefer to sit and listen, the music can be enjoyed from the gallery seating too.

Dressing rooms are not available onsite, we recommend you come ready to dance!

Doors open at 11:15 am. Bookings are essential.
