Silver Rein is an Ithaca, NY-based performing artist whose music explores feelings of isolation and belonging, life and death against the landscape of an old yet familiar world. Electric cello meets soft to soaring operatic vocals in this goth folk music experience. Described by listeners as “Viking dungeon music” “Celtic” and “a spiritual experience,” Silver Rein casts spells of the ages. Silver Rein performs and loops in real-time with an NS Design NXTa5 electric cello and Boss RC-600 loop station. Percussive arrangements, created from found objects and effects, are stored in a loop station to accompany live performance, interspersed with original backing tracks.

Vudu Sister is a gothic folk ensemble from Providence, RI, fronted by French-American songwriter, Keith J.G McCurdy. With over two decades of performance experience, their music ranges from intimate solo with vocals and baritone acoustic, to a lush and cinematic arrangement of guitar, violin, cello, and upright bass. The band's unique sound is influenced by European folk, 90s grunge, H.P. Lovecraft, and the poetry and myths of classical antiquity. Vudu Sister's work grapples with dark themes, exploring shadowy realms of death, horror, murder, and the unsettling connection between life and the afterlife. Their music is often reminiscent of contemporary dark folk and doom artists like Emma Ruth Rundle, Chelsea Wolfe, and Marissa Nadler.
