W.A.M.S. + Penny Lane's present - Amberley Maryellen & Michael Ward

Join us for another special evening of live music and conversation as WAMS and Penny Lane's welcome two outstanding WA singer-songwriters to our comfy little stage!

Michael Ward is a powerhouse performer whose unique blend of alt-country, gritty blues and roots music has taken him across WA and Australia for decades. Raised in the salty coastal swamplands of Stratham, Michael brings raw energy, authenticity and a lifetime of musical experience to every performance. In 2025, he was named Male Artist of the Year at the WA Country Music Awards.

Joining Michael is Amberley Maryellen, one of WA's brightest rising country music stars. A graduate of the Academy of Country Music, Amberley has performed on the main stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and earned a Top 5 songwriting nomination at the 2025 WAM Song of the Year Awards. In 2026, she was named Emerging Artist of the Year at the WA Country Music Awards, alongside nominations for Alternate Country Song and Open Songwriter of the Year.

Come along for a relaxed, intimate evening of wonderful original music, artist interviews and conversation, with the opportunity to hear the stories behind the songs and get to know the musicians who make them. Grab your tickets, bring a friend and settle in for another great night at Penny Lane's! 🎸❤️
