Have your say on WA’s 2029 Bicentenary

In 2029, Western Australia will mark 200 years since the founding of the Swan River Colony, alongside more than 65,000 years of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander custodianship.

Reconciliation WA and the City of Perth invite you to join us at Perth Town Hall for a community conversation about what this moment should mean for Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to share your ideas, perspectives and aspirations for 2029 and help shape recommendations for the WA 2029 Bicentenary.

The consultation will use a relaxed Drop-In format, where you can come along at any time and join conversations exploring five key questions about Western Australia, our communities and what we want 2029 to represent.

You don't need any special knowledge or experience to participate. We want to hear from Western Australians with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
