It's the Annual WA Beach Clean Up!
In celebration, Perth NRM and Tangaroa Blue are teaming up to clean up the litter and marine debris from Challenger Beach, with funding and support from Alcoa Australia.
And it's a special one! 2024 marks twenty years since Tangaroa Blue Foundation was founded and the first WA Beach Clean-up event that took place.
EVENT DETAILS:
- Date: Saturday, 12 October 2024
- Time: 9:00am-11:30am
- Location: Challenger Beach, Naval Base, Sutton Road
- Meeting point: Noot Boat Ramp, off Sutton Road
- To bring: Water bottle, reusable cup, sun and/or rain protection
- What's provided: Gloves, bags, tongs, sharps containers, marquee for shade
- Registration: Free! Children under 16 need to be supervised by a parent or guardian.
