Sensory Information

Hackett Hall is a brightly lit open space and we are anticipating many people will be attending the event, and the space may be loud. While WA Museum Boola Bardip does have quiet spaces in their main building, there is no specific space in Hackett Hall. However, the WA Digital Inclusion Project is committed to ensuring that the Expo is accessible for all people and we encourage you to bring ear plugs or headphones, fidget/sensory items, or anything you require to make your experience more comfortable. When you register for this event, there is an opportunity for you to share any details about your accessibility needs that you think we should know. You can also make accommodation requests here and we will do our best to support your attendance. A staff member might contact you to see how best we can help support you to attend this event. WA Museum Boola Bardip also offers Sensory Backpacks for hire that include maps, ear defenders, fidget toy, and more. If you wish to know more about the option to hire these on the day of this event, please contact WA Museum Boola Bardip directly on 1300 134 081.
