WABCU Sip n Sort (Margaret River)

Join the statewide effort and register your own WA Beach Clean-Up (WABCU) with Tangaroa Blue Foundation at your favourite coastal location during the event window, 16–19 October 2026.

Once your clean-up is complete, join us for the 22nd annual WABCU Sip n Sort at Margaret River Brewhouse!

Bring along your collected marine debris and data sheets, and we’ll work together to sort, classify and weigh your debris before entering your data into the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database.

A Tangaroa Blue Foundation representative and Nature Conservation Margaret River representative will be on hand to assist with debris classification and data entry, whether you’re entering your results via the AMDI App or datasheet.

Meet like-minded community members, enjoy a delicious brew and some nibbles, and celebrate the impact of your clean-up efforts.

Together, we can protect our coastlines, contribute valuable data to the AMDI and help tackle marine debris across Western Australia as part of the largest community-driven marine debris event in Australia!
