    Event description

We just want to get people out riding more!

This very affordable mountain biking club ride in partnership with West Side Cycle Clun and ERCS will be low key but high fun. A friendly ride that’s all about 2 wheels and a good time. The Autumn ride will be circuit of 10kms with 3 hours to do as many as you can....or want to. The terrain is a combination of even off track, dirt and timber obstacles with some old school rocky patches. All obstacles have an A and B line. Once you have trashed your legs, or your just hungry, lunch will be served as part of the day. Come on your own, bring a friend or drag the team along.

We will have to have a limit to numbers on this day, so there is enough food for everyone. Registering early will help with our planning. Thanks.

    Location:

    121-179 Grieg's Road Truganina.

Not far from the city centre on the fringes of Melbourne's west, we have built some fun mountain bike trails. Ok, it's no Beechworth Epic ride or Blue Derby. It's more old school, you know, rocks and dirt.

    The course:

The terrain is suited for intermediate to advanced riders. (The Nov course is to be confirmed, we are having fun building you some new obstacles!)

Set yourself a goal for 3 hours of riding and see how many laps you can do. We will have some Wacky awards presented while you enjoy a filling lunch at the end of your ride. Perhaps even a prize or two.

    Food:

A warm lunch is part of the social ride. It will be suitable for most dietary needs (Gluten, Veg and Vegan, dairy free and nut free), please email Michael if you have any questions. mnaismith@edmundrice.org

    Parking:

There is plenty of onsite parking.

    Start time:

    9am

    Registration starts at 8am

    Age:

    14 years and older.

    eMTB's are welcome.

This ride will have a limit on registrations.

    Wet weather guarantee.
If it's too wet...100% money back. We care about your bike.

Why is the ride so cheap to enter and there is even a free lunch? Just like we said. "We want to get more people out riding". Edmund Rice Community Services and Westside Cycles Club have put on other community rides together, we just love getting people on bikes! Plus, we are in the unique situation of having space to make trails.

    Acknowledgement of Risk

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and understand that this is a bike event, and you will be riding independently on an uneven surface with lose rocks. There are road crossings, they will have marshals, but it is your reasonability to cross safely.  You will ride the purpose made rock and dirt obstacles at your skill level or go around.
