THE MEETING AGENDA IS LISTED BELOW:
1. RESULTS OF NAME CHANGE SURVEY AND RATIFICATION
The WACOBU name change survey was conducted from December 2024 to 31 January 2025 with 165 respondents. Seven names were provided by the Working Group and the WAGGA AGRICULTURAL ALUMNI CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY (WAACSU) was selected as the new name.
Motion: The AGM meeting endorse the new name WAGGA AGRICULTURAL ALUMNI CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY (WAACSU) and the formation of the new association.
2. TRANSITION TO NEW NAME
Constitution review and notify Fair Trading.
Change of bank details and scholarship fund process.
2. 75TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER
Planned for Saturday 19 July 2025 to coincide with the WAC rugby versus Reddies game at Beres Ellwood Oval.
Working group to be formed to organise the dinner.
3. PROVIDE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CSU AGRICULTURE STUDENT
The current WACOBU annual scholarship (started in 2007) is for one student only and is valued at the lower end of the scholarship spectrum.
The Survey indicated 53 people would like to donate to the scholarship fund. Process to be developed for funds to flow through our association to Alumni.
