WAFDC - Auslan Day @ Scitech

Join WAFDC for a family-friendly day at Scitech! With support from our mentors and volunteers, this exciting event will be fully accessible for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the experience.

All shows throughout the day will be Auslan interpreted, and the Planetarium presentations will include on-screen captions.

This special event is being held as part of National Week of Deaf People and is the only dedicated Auslan Day at Scitech during the celebration. Come along and support the fantastic work Scitech is doing to create an inclusive and accessible experience for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

National Week of Deaf People takes place during 21st - 27th September, but due to school holidays we are hosting this a few days later to ensure families can attend this event.
