What to Expect: 

Farm tours and talks 

Informative discussion about local salinity issues and solutions 

Results of historical and current salinity testing in the area 

Please bring any water or soil samples you want to have tested on the day - put your water in a clean glass or plastic bottle and a few tablespoons of dirt from the top 10 cm and bottom 20cm 

After the workshop stick around and grab a Drink and Dinner at the Tarcutta pub

    Annika Colenso - Local Landcare Coordinator: Has been Salinity testing the local area the past year.


    Timeline:

    Will you be requiring people to drive to the different properties

      • 2:00 pm: Meet at - 75 Mona Vale Rd, Ladysmith NSW 2652, for farm tour and talk about salinity 
      • 3:00 pm: Drive 22min to the second farm which is located on - Lower Tarcutta Rd, Tarcutta NSW 2652, we will explain in more detail where the farm is on day. We will be doing a farm tour and talk about erosion.
      • 4:20 pm: Drive to the Tarcutta pub 8min away - For discussion about historical issues and salinity records
      • 5:00 pm: Workshop ends; feel free to stay and have dinner at the pub
