This 30-minute, easy-to-follow dance class is designed for all levels, with clear instruction and uplifting encouragement from our amazing tutors. FAQs
- Where do the classes take place?
We GROOVE on either Oneroa, Onetangi or Palm Beaches depending on tide & weather conditions. See the weekly location update poster on this site and on our Instagram/ Facebook pages ( waihekegrooves)
- Can anyone join in?
YES! Please be aware of the uneven surface/ sand surface & the sun exposure but otherwise anyone that loves music & movement and wishes to have a fun & motivational dance instructor lead them in grooving on the beach are welcome! Please consider your health & ability to safely participate in the classes before you sign up.
- Do I have to dance barefoot or can I wear shoes?
Yes you are welcome to wear whatever suits you and supports your movement and wellbeing.
- Can I book ahead for repeat sessions?
Yes we now have a 5 session concession available for anyone that wishes to either use for a group to attend or locals that may wish to attend more regularly.
