Wairau Estuary Care & Connect

Join us for this community clean up of the Wairau Estuary. This area is an important breeding ground for native birds, but it faces challenges such as pest plants and rubbish. Come along for the afternoon to help clean it up and plant some natives.

Please bring your own gloves if you have them, and wear clothes and shoes suitable for muddy conditions – gumboots are a great choice if you have them! Spare gloves can be provided on a non-returnable basis, please take them home with you then bring them at future events.
